Terms of Service & Store Return Policy

Effective Date: October 16, 2026 • Publisher: Éditions CPC Publishing (eCPCp) • Jurisdiction: Quebec, Canada
Please Read Carefully: By accessing our websites (editionscpcpublishing.com, clementpaquette.com, acceptiobyaccept.com) or purchasing our physical collector editions, digital publications, audio productions, software tools, or editorial services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Store Return & Replacement Policy.

1. Scope & Ownership of Services

These Terms govern all transactions and usage across the literary, physical, digital, and technological properties of Éditions CPC Publishing (eCPCp) and founder Clément Paquette. This includes:

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright Protection

All literary texts, illustrations, audio designs, typography, code, trademarks, and branding appearing on this platform are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of Clément Paquette and Éditions CPC Publishing, protected internationally under the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and the Canadian Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42).

Strict Prohibition on Redistribution & Copying:

3. Social DRM & Digital Watermarking

To protect the integrity of our intellectual property, digital deliverables (including illustrated PDFs) may be serialized with an invisible or discrete ex-libris mark containing the purchaser's name, transaction ID, and timestamp. Tampering with or altering digital rights management metadata is strictly prohibited by law.

4. Pricing, Currency & Tax-Inclusive Billing

All prices displayed on direct checkout links are denominated in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and configured with applicable taxes included unless expressly indicated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc.

5. Multi-Tier Store Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

Because published literary works, illustrated collector editions, and digital masters contain reproducible intellectual property, our return and refund policy balances strong consumer protection with copyright preservation under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act (L.P.C.) and international e-commerce standards:

A. Physical Books & Collector Editions (Unopened Package & Custom Inscription Rules):

B. Digital Downloads (eBooks, Illustrated PDFs & Neural Audio Masters):

C. Software Subscriptions (Acceptio Pro SaaS):

D. Consulting & Editorial Retainers:

6. Software Subscriptions (Acceptio Pro)

Subscriptions to Acceptio Pro are billed on a recurring basis ($29 CAD/month or $276 CAD/year). You may cancel your subscription at any time via the self-service Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, access continues through the end of the paid billing period with no automatic renewal.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Éditions CPC Publishing, its founder, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our websites, software, or digital goods. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec.
